Empire Mine State Historic Park

The largest gold producing mine in California operated from the mid 1800's up until the late 1950's . Now a State Park of over 800 acres, 13 acres of groomed gardens, historically tours, and several miles of hiking and Equestrian trails. One of the top outdoor wedding venues in Nevada County.







Bridgeport Covered Bridge

The longest span for a covered bridge west of the Mississippi River- just 12 miles out Penn Valley


Condon Park-

On any given day you will find dozens of folks out playing disc golf, skateboarding, shooting baskets, or tending to their dogs in the “Dogs Run Free” facility

under the pines.
